Unimatrix*

Preformed sectional matrices system for Class II restorations.

Due their convexity and slim thinness of 0,05mm they allow to rebuild perfect and tight contact points;

Easy, quick and comfortable placing by a ring system, which replace the typical matrix holders;

Three different sizes for a better adaptation to all clinical situations.

Directions for use

Choose the size of matrix which best fits with the cavity, place the matrix, install the wedge, and with the help of any clamp forceps install the fixing ring; this ring will accomplish two functions, holding the matrix in the desired position and also by pushing the adjacent tooth;

When the filling of the cavity is concluded, first remove the ring, then the wedge, and finally the matrix.

Method of sterilization

The rings can be sterilized by any method.

Cervical Matrix*

Cure through matrices for Class V restorations.

Due its multiple sizes, they can be easily adapted to all class V restorations;

Composites can be light cured through the matrix while it´s contained under

pressure, obtaining a smooth surface that will require less adjustments and just a simple polishing;

Does not adhere to composites or Glass Ionomers;

Available in 5 sizes.

Directions for use

Select among the five available sizes the one which better adjusts to the tooth to be restored;

Adjust the matrix to the handle;

Insert the last layer of composite;

Compress to the matrix against the tooth forcing the composite to flow to incisal region;

Holding the instrument remove the excesses of composite from the edges of the matrix and light cure it for 10 seconds through the matrix;

Remove the matrix and complete the photopolymerization according to the recommendations of the manufacturer of the composite.

Method of sterilization

The instruments and matrices are autoclavable.

Directions for use

In order to attain a better handling of the Elastic Wedge, it is recommended to use porta clamps type tweezers;

Stretch the Elastic Wedge using the tweezers;

Place the matrix and then the Elastic Wedge;

Place the ring behind the Elastic Wedge if necessary;

After the ring was removed, the Elastic Wedge should be cut with scissors while is being stretched from one of its extremities.

Contact + Gold*

Instruments for contact point reconstruction.

Translucent instruments that allows to light cure through their tips while the matrix is being hold attached to the adjacent tooth;

One instrument for large cavities (L) and one for small cavities (S);

Each instrument has a distal and a mesial tip.

Directions for use

Before using the Contact + Gold, the cavity should have at lea

st one increment of resin properly adjusted and polymerized;

Introduce a small quantity of composite into the cavity, enough to cover the tip of the instrument;

Introduce the instrument into the resin in the cavity and apply a moderate force until the matrix gets in contact with the adjacent tooth; keeping it in the contact point position, photo-polymerize the resin through the instrument. When the resin is cured, release the pressure and remove the instrument from the cavity;

The frame of resin formed by the instrument will contain the matrix in the contact position;

Complete the filling of the cavity with the conventional procedure.

Diamond Gloss*

Directions for use
