MIRIS 2*/ Coltene/Whaledent
The MIRIS® 2 composite system was developed in collaboration with Dr. Didier Dietschi.
MIRIS® 2 is based on the natural layering concept, which functions with dentin and enamel masses and provides optical properties that are comparable to original tissue. The unique, composite-based MIRIS® 2 shade matching system is separated into dentin and enamel shade guides that can be freely interposed with one another to achieve an aesthetic, optimal definition of the shade.
MIRIS® 2 is an innovative restorative system offering well proven highly aesthetic solutions in the simplest possible way to amaze dentists and patients alike. MIRIS® 2 takes you one step closer to creating "artificial reality".

Young Patients
With young patients, the enamel generally demonstrates a pronounced opalescent effect and shows the least amount of translucency. On the incisal edge, the dentin lobes are completely covered with enamel. The dentin is lighter with only minor colour variations

Adult Patients
With adult patients, the enamel is generally less white. It's neutral or slightly ivory in colour. The dentin can be partially exposed on the incisal edges. The dentin is darker.

Elder Patients
With elderly patients, the enamel is thinner and more transparent. On the incisal edges, the underlying dentin structure is clearly visible and appears like a flat wall. The individual lobes are less recognizable and only slight depressions remain. The dentin is relatively dark with high chroma.

SYNERGY® D6 nanohybrid composite is the ideal modern filling material: low shrinkage, optimum handling properties,fast polishability and high resistance to operating lights. These properties make it ideal for the needs of the practising dentist.
The simple selection of shades is a special feature. The result is a selection with only 6 dentin and 2 enamel shades.
This small number of shades with excellent optical blend-in properties is sufficient to cover a wide range of tooth shades.

Superior marginal integrity with low risk of postoperative sensitivity :
ne coat 7.0's special formulation demineralizes the dentin and enamel surfaces, thus solubilizing the smear layer without ever removing it from the open tubules. The end result is a low gap formation, which prevents micro leakage and minimizes the risk of postoperative sensitivity.
